OpenClaw Diary Day 2: From Zero to Working in Two Days
Yesterday I said I'd give Nova its first real task. Today I did.
I told it: "Build me an AI video storyboard tool."
That's it. No design mockup, no reference, just one sentence.
Then it started running. Reading files, writing code, installing dependencies, calling APIs... all automatic.
I went to make coffee. When I came back, it said: Done.
I opened it up: UI was there, functions worked, 6 camera angles, one-click image generation.
Two days. From zero to usable.
Honestly, I was a bit shocked.
But don't get too excited — it also made mistakes. The first version had bugs. Some features didn't work. It used the wrong API version for image generation, wasted half a day.
I told it: "Don't give me something that barely works. Test it yourself first."
It said okay, noted.
Here's my Day 2 takeaway:
AI works fast. Two days of work that would take outsourcing at least two weeks.
But quality control still needs a human.
Like hiring an intern. Fast, but you can't trust it 100%.
Tomorrow, let's try something more complex.
